Designer Tess Giberson takes a bow at the end of her Fall 2012 show at Eyebeam NY

NEW YORK, NY - Designer Tess Giberson has been riding high since the relaunching of her label in 2010. The New Hampshire born native and 1997 RISD graduate is finding more commercial success with Saks Fifth Avenue recently stocking up her line. Her latest Fall 2012 collection shown during New York Fashion Week was inspired by artist Christo (of Christo and Jeanne-Claude fame), most notably his early works of "wrapping" smaller objects. Giberson's "Wrap" collection is all about layering and texture, two areas in which Giberson excels as an artist. Her colors were mostly black but the layering of diverse textures kept things fresh and interesting. Her infusions of bight color were brief but were most welcome. For Fall 2012, Tess Giberson collaborated with jewelry designer Jill Planter to create some beautiful and unique pieces to further enhance her fine collection. - Ian J. Larraga

Project Runway designer Ben Chmura makes not only a StyleWeek debut but he also debuts his completely new collection that he hopes will be picked up by a few prospective investors and buyers.  His "Nibiru" collection takes it's inspiration from the mythical ancient gods called Annunaki.
